Tips for Use of Building Safety Nets
Where is Safety Net Used
A safety net must be hung under the high work site; when the height of the building exceeds 4m, a safety net that gradually rises with the wall must be set up, and a fixed safety net will be set up every 4m in the future. , Safety nets must be set up at the upper and lower holes. The erection of the safety net should be low inside and high outside. The height difference of the expenditure part is generally about 50cm; the supporting rods are not broken or bent; the gap between the inner edge of the net and the wall should be less than 15cm; the distance between the lowest point of the net and the surface of the object below should be greater than 3m . For the support used for the erection of the safety net, the diameter of the small head of the wooden pole shall not be less than 7cm, the diameter of the small head of the bamboo pole shall not be less than 8cm, and the distance between the supporting poles shall not be greater than 4m.
Check if Safety Net is Complete
Check the safety net for corrosion and damage before use. During construction, the safety net must be complete and effective, reasonable support, uniform force, and no debris in the net. The lap joint should be tight and reliable, and there should be no gaps. The safety net should not be dismantled or damaged during the construction period, and can only be removed when there is no high place. When the erected safety net is temporarily removed due to construction needs, the construction unit must notify and seek the approval of the erection unit before removing it. After the construction is completed, it must be restored by the construction unit immediately according to the specified requirements, and can be used only after the erection unit has passed the inspection.
Clean up Debris
Frequently clean up the debris in the net. When performing welding operations above the net, effective measures should be taken to prevent welding sparks from falling on the net; there should be no long-term serious acid-base fumes around the net.
Record Safety Net State in Use
The safety net must be checked frequently when in use, and there must be a track record of use. Safety nets that do not meet the requirements should be dealt with in time. When the safety net is not in use, it must be properly stored and kept to prevent moisture and mold. Before using the new net, you must check the nameplate of the product: firstly, see whether it is a flat net or a vertical net. The vertical net and the flat net must be strictly separated. The vertical net is never allowed to be used as a flat net; Tie tightly. ; The manufacturer’s production license; the product’s factory qualification certificate. If the old network is tested before use, and there is a test report, only the old network that has passed the test can be used.
